I've recently been repainting over acrylic collages. The result offers me to working into the surface to arrive at what I feel is a more painterly quality.

- Dennis recently retired as Lecturer at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He Dennis is also an emeritus faculty, Washtenaw Community College, Ann Arbor, Michigan where he taught design and art for twenty-nine and a half years. He earned a B.F.A in Painting at Wayne State University, and went on to study painting at Eastern Michigan University where he earned his M.F.A. Dennis was hired as an Assistant Professor of Art, South Dakota State University instructing in art and design the first five years of his teaching career. He joined the faculty at Washtenaw Community College, Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1980, and retired from WCC in December of 2009. Currently he teaches at The college of Art and Design, University of Michigan since 2008.
