Acrylic dots on canvas

An intense color of acrylic was first applied to the canvas. Dots of acrylic were applied in clusters of color in a pointillistic manner. The painting's surface became almost skin like with a jewel like quality caused by the highly concentrated relief marks. A fine nozzle bottle was used to extrude the acrylic in perfect dots of color. The organic forms which appear in different ways depending on the angle of light and the distance the viewer is from the work contrast the rectangular form of the canvas. The color beads and clustered forms diminish in size and intensity as they are placed closer to the edge of the painting.
