String was adhered to the primed canvas, acrylic beads of squiggly lines and dots were extruded in modulated color and value to cause the Bezold effect where the lines look more pronounced in the center and dissolve at the edges of the canvas. The illuminated center causes the darker string lines to appear to float causing surface tension.
